Covid-19 secure procedures – updated 17/05/2021

From the 17th May our toilet and shower facilities will be open with Covid secure measures in place. We really encourage you to use your own facilities where possible

The Park is run by our small family team of four people and these decisions have been made to ensure we are able to open and operate safely. Our priority is to protect not only our team and guests but to lessen the impact our business will have on the local community and health care providers. We have carried out a full risk assessment to help shape our procedures and we will be operating to COVID secure guidelines. We reserve the right to update these changes at any time

Following on from last year we will still be working with different procedures in place, please be patient with us as some elements may take slightly longer. Rest assured we will be working hard to maintain our usual high standards of quality and service

Before Your Arrival
Under our normal terms and conditions your holiday balance is due to be paid in full at least 28 days before your confirmed arrival date with us.

If the Park has to close due to restrictions we will move the deposit or payment as a credit to another booking, re-book new dates or offer a refund

If you are unable to travel due to local restrictions we will move the deposit or payment as a credit to another booking, re-book new dates or offer a refund

If you are unable to travel due to illness the onus is on yourselves to make a claim under your travel insurance

We will e-mail you a link to the new Park information leaflet. It is important that you take time to read this so you are aware of the changes that are in place

You must not travel to the Park if you or anyone in your household has, or has had, in the last 14 days any symptoms or suspected COVID-19 symptoms. By travelling to us you are declaring that you can meet this condition. Please inform us if you will not be arriving

As the situation changes our Covid-19 secure procedures and conditions will need to be updated. On payment of your balance you will be agreeing to the latest conditions. If you have any queries or wish to postpone your booking then please email reception@trethem.com

We have installed a number of hand sanitisers around the Park

We suggest all guests bring their own hand sanitiser and disposable gloves

We will always try to keep you on your preferred pitch but this season this may not always be possible

Arriving at the Park
On arrival at the Park please pull up on the arrivals parking area

When the reception is empty please come in and we will book you in. Only one person from each party may come in at once

When booking in you will be shown on a Park plan where your pitch is. Please ensure you follow the information you are given

If you require help to pitch your caravan please unhitch from your car on the arrivals area. Please wait in your car whilst our team hitch up and pitch the caravan for you. Do not drive onto your pitch until they have finished and driven away

If you are coming to a storage caravan please make sure you bring your own keys with you. Please double check everything when you leave as we will not be able to go into your caravan under any circumstances

Pitching up
The majority of our pitches are individually hedged so we already have good social distancing in place. You must stay within the boundary of your pitch
In preparation for your arrival each pitch will be checked. When a pitch is vacated the service points and wooden picnic tables will be sprayed with an appropriate sanitiser

Shower and toilet facilities
We strongly recommend that you use your own facilities where possible. The ladies and gents toilet and shower blocks and three individual unisex shower rooms are open. Our Covid secure measures include limiting the number of people in at any one time, providing sanitising spray and wipes, good ventilation and extra cleaning procedures. To limit time spent within the facilities the hair dryers, plug sockets and shaver points are not availables

Communal facilities
The dish-washing facility is open with four sinks currently available

The laundrette is open and limited to two people from one household at any one time

The chemical toilet disposal, motorhome service point and fresh water/waste points are available

The general refuse and re-cycling points are open

The ice-pack freezer room is open

The information area is open and limited to two people from one household at any one time

Our shop is open and limited to one in, one out

Our dog walk field is open

What if I become unwell?
If you or any member of your party have Covid-19 symptoms during your stay with us you must contact NHS 111 for advice. You will not be able to self-isolate on the Park and must return home immediately. Please ring and inform reception. Do not use the Park facilities

Doing your bit on the Park
Please be respectful of others on the Park and in the local area. Follow social distancing

Day visitors are currently not allowed on the Park

Please keep to the tarmac roads and footpaths and do not cut across other pitches

When our team are out and about tending pitches, cutting grass or pitching caravans please maintain a safe distance at all times

We will not be able to assist with any problems arising within your unit. We will not be able to lend any tools for repairs
